I have been playing Tomodachi Life a lot more lately. While buying some food it got me thinking 'how accurate are the prices of the food in this game to real?' So I decided to do some research and find out for myself. I did give myself a few rules though
The Vitality Ranking, or known as Best Condition Ranks known in Tomodachi Collection is one of the 7, 10 in Tomodachi Life rankings in the Ranking Board. This article is an epic stub, which means it does not reach the criteria of this wiki's page length and information. Tomodachi Life reviews, news, screenshots, guides, cheats, videos. Im interested in seeing how my rankings match up with other people whove played all/most of these.
- The currency needs to be the same (so I'll be looking at prices in the UK, since my copy of Tomodachi Life uses the UK currency '£').
- I will be checking multiple sources (sourcses meaning either shops or/and restaurants), gathering the prices then comparing the highest and lowest prices of the real life food to the price of the Tomodachi Life food.
- Depending on the food, I might have to use a pre-made /microwave food rather than if it was home cooked, since they most likely have all of the components together.
- If its a more outlandish food, I'm not counting post and packaging
- I will do one food from each of the categories in the game. I might do more in the future if anyone is interested.
The first food I will be comparing is the cheeseburger, which costs £6 in the game. Since a lot of the sources come from fast food places, I will be using them. The lowest price I found was £1.09 while the highest was £3.49. So compared to real life, the cheeseburgers are overpriced in this game. Is the cheese made of gold or something?
The second food I went for was Caviar since its the most expensive food in the game at a whopping £120! The lowest price I found for Caviar was £49 while the highest was £160. So that is slightly accurate. I guess the game's caviar is of a high quality! Maybe don't buy it anyway...
The third food was the Yule Log, a popular Christmas dish and at £6.50. The lowest price for the Yule log I found was £2 and the highest was £4.99. Slightly overpriced in Tomodachi Life but unlike the cheeseburger, its not too big of a gap.
The last food (well, drink...) was the cappuccino which is £2.90 in Tomodachi Life. From the picture, I'm going to assume that this is a medium beverage. The lowest price was £2.50 and the highest was £2.70. So out of all the foods we went through today, the cappuccino was the closest to the game's price.
